Notes:
- Principals in general practice pay the standard subscription (£387.00) irrespective of the year of qualification.
- Members become eligible for the retired subscription on the renewal date following their retirement from practice. Those with gross earnings from medical practice of less than £8792 pa also qualify for this rate.
- A Salary Link can be claimed by any member whose gross professional income for the year October 2007 - September 2008 is not expected to exceed £32,338. A separate claim must be made each year.
- The spouse/partner concessionary rate is available to a married couple or to unmarried partners in a long term relationship with financial interdependence and a joint home. The reduction is granted only to the partner who otherwise would have paid the lesser subscription rate.
- A fresh claim form should be completed by members in this category for each year that they claim.
Student members
First year medical students: free for those who agree to pay their subscription by direct debit or £30.00, or £2.50 per month for those who do not opt to pay be Direct Debit
Second year medical students: £30.00, or £2.50 per month
Third year medical students and all other years: £36.00, or £3.00 per month
