Biography - Tony Bourne
Prior to joining the BMA as Chief Executive/Secretary, Tony Bourne was in investment banking for over 25 years, most recently as a founding partner of Hawkpoint in its new form, an independent corporate finance advisory firm of over 100 people.
Previously, he was at Paribas where he was Global Head of the Equity Division, member of Managing Board of the Group and a member of its worldwide Corporate Finance Committee. Prior to that he was at Merrill Lynch both in London and New York.
For many years he was a member of the LIBA Securities Trading Committee and the IPMA Equity Committee.
He is also a member of the main board of Southern Housing Group, one of the country’s largest providers of social housing, as well as chairing its Audit Committee and its Finance Committee, and is on the Board of Trustees of Scope, one of the UK’s largest charities.
